MUSCAT : The occasion featured the unveiling of a commemorative logo, representing the ongoing cooperation between the two nations. This milestone highlights the enduring friendship and collaborative efforts between the Sultanate and Brunei Darussalam.



Addressing the gathering on the occasion, H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, pointed out that the relations between Oman and Brunei Darussalam are deep-rooted, characterised by constant communication. “The two friendly countries have succeeded in strengthening and consolidating these relations in various economic and cultural fields in addition to political fields,” he added.
He indicated that there are several projects and investment opportunities between the two countries in the fields of fish farming and the health sectors, in addition to student exchanges. He further stressed that communication and meetings are ongoing to expand these relations.
H.E. Noralizan Abdul Momin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Sultanate of Oman, said: “The two countries have enjoyed close fraternal relations in areas of common interest since 1984, and they are characterised by steady and stable development.”
She explained that these close relations have achieved exceptional results over the past four decades, as they have witnessed a lot of progress in many areas of cooperation.
