MUSCAT : The formal opening ceremony, attended by H.E. Dr. Khalfan bin Said Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, featured a detailed presentation of the Al Shorouk Neighborhood, including its designs, components, and implementation stages through a project model.

The Al Dhahab Real Estate Services Company, in collaboration with Al Dhahab Construction Foundation, is overseeing the project under the supervision of the Ministry.

The center will provide essential support and information to beneficiaries, investors, and those eligible under the government residential land grant system.

Abdul Munim bin Aqil Al Dhahab, CEO of Al Dhahab Real Estate Company, emphasized that the new Sales Center will serve as a vital communication link, offering necessary information and support to customers, particularly those from Salalah eligible for residential units in Al Shorouk Neighborhood. The project will be implemented in three phases, each lasting two years.

Al Shorouk is Salalah’s first integrated residential model, encompassing villas of various sizes, apartments, service and entertainment centers, and extensive green spaces. The neighbourhood will feature over 558 residential units across 324,000 square meters, with 40,000 square meters dedicated to green areas.

Designed with modern aesthetics, the district includes three types of villas, outdoor seating, gardens by the Ain Sahalnoot stream, a commercial center, a cultural center, a mosque, and a fuel station. The development also features well-designed internal roads, lighting, and smooth entrances and exits.

Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Oman Housing Bank to provide financing facilities for eligible grant recipients and prospective property owners in Al Shorouk district. The bank’s involvement highlights its role in promoting sustainable economic development and supporting the housing and construction sector in Oman.

Al Shorouk Neighborhood aims to offer diverse and adequate housing options, setting a new standard for residential projects in the Sultanate.
