Muscat – The apartment was being used to store commercial quantities of various foodstuffs, violating health regulations.
The Health Control Department of Muscat Municipality conducted a raid on a residential apartment in the Al-Athaiba area. The operation revealed that the apartment was being used improperly to store large quantities of foodstuffs under unsanitary conditions.


During the raid, officials uncovered approximately 450 kilograms of frozen food items deemed unfit for human consumption. The unsanitary conditions posed significant health risks, leading to the immediate destruction of the contaminated food products.
The Muscat Municipality in Bausher has emphasized its commitment to ensuring food safety and public health by taking swift action against such violations. The raid highlights the ongoing efforts to regulate and monitor food storage practices in residential areas to prevent potential health hazards and ensure that all food products meet safety standards.
