MUSCAT : The Ministry, represented by the Department of Roads in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, is cautioning motorists about the discovery of a hole on one of the bridges, and the ongoing maintenance work.
Owing to this, one lane of the old road will be closed for the next two days for maintenance work, the Ministry stated.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and plan alternative routes during this period. The Ministry is also conducting a consultative study for a project aimed at repairing and maintaining bridges on the old Wadi Al-Aq road to ensure long-term safety and reliability.
