MUSCAT : Organized by the Ministry of Labour in collaboration with the Omani Society for Human Resources Management (OSHRM), the forum, patronized by His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, aims to underscore the significance of psychological safety and mental health at work.
The forum seeks to raise awareness and provide practical tools for improving workplace mental health and psychological safety. It will feature working papers and two discussion panels addressing a range of topics including the foundational aspects of psychological safety, its importance in managing employee performance, and the challenges associated with remote work.
Faisal bin Hamoud Al Siyabi, CEO of OSHRM, emphasized the forum’s focus on creating an environment that fosters motivation and well-being. “This fourth edition of the forum aims to enhance understanding of psychological safety and its role in developing a supportive work environment. We are also exploring the balance between work and personal life and how it affects mental health, alongside sharing ideas and solutions to address psychological safety challenges,” he stated.
The event brings together experts and specialists from both within and outside the Sultanate of Oman to discuss effective strategies and practices for promoting psychological safety and mental health in the workplace.
