Muscat – H.E. Engineer Badr bin Salem Al Mamari, Secretary General of the Tender Board, told Oman News Agency that the General Secretariat of the Tender Board is prioritizing the increase of local content in government procurement contracts and projects. This initiative is designed to ensure efficient implementation and operation while raising awareness about the value of local content.
The Secretary-General highlighted that efforts are underway to establish a national office dedicated to local content. This office will handle various specializations aimed at improving project execution across different sectors and generating national returns that contribute to economic stimulation.
