Muscat: The Royal Academy of Administration (RAA) has launched the “Future Leaders” program, targeting 50 Omani youth aged 25 to 34 from the public and private sectors. This six-month program is designed to develop essential leadership skills through intensive learning sessions, interactive workshops, and practical training.
The program collaborates with Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Globus Europe University, Matters Group, and Chaos Pilot University, focusing on tackling real-world challenges while drawing from local and international leadership experiences. Key objectives include enhancing leadership competencies, fostering innovative problem-solving strategies, promoting self-awareness and teamwork, and embedding a culture of innovation within institutions.
Participants will engage directly with leaders and experts from within and outside Oman, expanding their professional networks and enhancing their ability to positively influence their environments. The program’s curriculum is structured into three in-person units—”Discover,” “Predict,” and “Leadership,” complemented by three talent labs, all aimed at instilling future skills and best practices among participants.

A highlight of the program is a visit to Japan, where participants will explore educational and entrepreneurial institutions, meet with young Japanese leaders, and delve into topics like rapid technological changes, change management, and sustainable leadership practices. This experience is intended to broaden participants’ global perspectives and inspire new ideas that can be applied professionally and personally.
Dr. Fathia bint Abdullah Al Rashidi, Assistant President for Programs at RAA, emphasized that the Future Leaders Program embodies the Academy’s vision of developing young national leaders capable of innovating and making a positive impact on their communities. She noted that empowering youth today is an investment in Oman’s future, and this program is part of a broader effort to build an integrated system of executive education that aligns with national needs and global trends.
