Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a weather alert. The latest National Multi-Hazards Early Warning Center forecasts indicate that upper air low pressure will impact Oman from Monday to Wednesday. The weather system is expected to bring cloud cover across most governorates, with isolated rain of varying intensity, including thunderstorms.
Governorates like South Al Sharqia, Al Wusta, Dhofar, parts of Muscat, and the Al Hajar Mountains are likely to experience heavy downpours, leading to the flow of wadis and potential flash floods.
