Muscat – As per online media reports, Pakistan’s Information Minister Ataullah Tarar has announced new visa regulations, offering on-arrival visa service for residents of Gulf countries and exempting visa fees for nationals from 126 countries.

Residents of Gulf countries—including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates—will benefit from a simplified on-arrival visa process. This move is expected to facilitate easier travel and enhance business and tourism opportunities between Pakistan and the Gulf region.
Under the new policy, visitors from the 126 fee-exempt countries will only need to complete a one-page form with 30 questions. This process is designed to be completed in about ten minutes, after which the visa will be issued directly to their phone. The visa will be valid for three months and can be renewed if needed.

The revised policy also emphasizes support for religious tourism, particularly for Sikh pilgrims attending religious festivals in Pakistan.
