MUSCAT : Oman’s Social Protection Fund has launched an electronic portal as of August 15, 2024, allowing employers to verify and update the data and wages of their non-Omani employees. This new system aims to simplify the management of maternity leave insurance, ensuring accuracy and ease of access.
Employers must check that their registration data and wage details are correct on the Fund’s portal. They must also ensure timely payment of monthly contributions, with the first subscription invoice available through the portal. Monthly contributions are due by August 31, 2024, and the final payment deadline is September 15, 2024.
For more detailed instructions, employers can refer to the user guide available on the portal, which provides comprehensive information on registration, subscription, and data management.
