MUSCAT : On Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, His Excellency Imran Ali, the Pakistani Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, presided over a spirited flag-raising ceremony at Pakistan School Muscat. Embassy officials, members of the Pakistan Navy Ship YARMOOK, currently visiting Oman, and a gathering of the Pakistani community, including faculty members and parents, attended the event.

His Excellency Imran Ali extended heartfelt congratulations to the attendees and underscored the significance of a free homeland, reflecting on the pivotal moments of the Pakistan Movement. His address served as a reminder of the enduring values and vision of Pakistan’s founding leaders.

In a special moment, the Ambassador awarded appreciation certificates to courageous Pakistanis who demonstrated remarkable bravery by saving lives during a recent firing incident in Muscat. This recognition highlighted the spirit of heroism within the community.

In his statement, His Excellency Imran Ali Imran Ali extended warm felicitations to all Pakistanis residing in Oman. He also spoke about the opportunity to renew the commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Pakistan as Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah envisioned.
