Muscat: Oman’s Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) is rolling out an exciting new initiative designed to elevate service standards in the Sultanate. The “Consumer Friendly Establishments Initiative” seeks to collaborate with commercial, industrial, and service institutions to ensure they meet high standards of consumer service.
This initiative is open to all institutions aiming to enhance their service quality for both Omani and non-Omani consumers. Institutions that achieve a minimum of 80% in the evaluation will earn the prestigious title of ‘Consumer-Friendly Institution.’
Businesses that succeed in the assessment will benefit from a comprehensive evaluation report detailing their strengths and areas for improvement, along with a consumer-friendly certificate and card. Additionally, those who pass the 80% threshold can publicize their achievement in newspapers and use the certification to bolster their marketing efforts.
