MUSCAT : As part of the executive program for Sur, the Arab Tourism Capital 2024, the festival, organized by the Ministry in collaboration with the Office of the Governor of South Al Sharqiyah, will feature a variety of maritime sports and activities, with events scheduled daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The festival will include thrilling competitions and activities such as sailing championships (August 19-22), kitesurfing (August 23-24), and rowing competitions (August 26-28). Visitors can also enjoy swimming races (August 25-28) and corporate sailing opportunities (August 18-22).
The festival’s fan zone will offer a vibrant experience with food trucks, live entertainment, and a marketplace featuring local vendors. Attendees can explore handmade crafts, taste delectable treats, and enjoy seafood delights.
