Muscat: The Ministry of Labour, through the Directorate General of Labour in Al Dhahirah Governorate, launched a crackdown on labour law violations, resulting in the arrest of 22 workers.
Among those detained, 20 were found working in a licensed profession as water tanker drivers but were in breach of legal regulations. Legal measures are being taken against them.
