MUSCAT : The Sultanate of Oman has expressed strong support for the recent joint statement issued by His Excellency the President of the United States, His Excellency the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar. The statement emphasizes the urgent need to finalize the ceasefire agreement, secure the release of prisoners and detainees in Gaza, and restart peace negotiations.
The trilateral declaration calls for renewed discussions on August 15, with the meetings set to take place either in Doha or Cairo.
