Muscat: Oman experienced a rise in temperatures, with the highest recorded temperature reaching 45.5ºC in Maqshin yesterday.
In the past 24 hours, several other regions have also recorded scorching temperatures. Sunaynah saw a high of 44.5ºC, Hamra ad Duru reached 44.4ºC, and Marmul experienced 44.1ºC. Haima, Fahud, and Mayzuna also faced intense heat, with temperatures hitting 43.7ºC, 43.5ºC, and 43.5ºC, respectively. Ibri matched the 43.5ºC mark.
