MUSCAT : In an effort to streamline passenger flow and ensure on-time departures, travelers are required to complete the boarding pass reading process at least 40 minutes prior to their scheduled flight departure.
“Starting from Sunday, August 4, 2024, the timings for the boarding pass reading area, located after the check-in counters and before the passport control desks, will be adjusted,” stated the Oman Airports announcement.
This adjustment aims to facilitate a more efficient and seamless process for completing passport control and security checks.
Passengers who fail to clear this checkpoint within the stipulated 40 minutes will not be permitted to proceed. It is important to note that departure gates will continue to close 20 minutes before departure time, as previously implemented.
Oman Airports kindly requests all travelers to adhere to these new instructions to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey. For more information, please visit the official Oman Airports website or follow their social media accounts.
