MUSCAT : The two officials exchanged views and consulted on recent developments in the region, particularly the dangerous escalation resulting from Israel’s intransigence and continued brutal aggression against the Palestinian people.
During the call, both sides expressed deep concern over the ongoing violence, which includes terrorist operations and political assassinations aimed at undermining efforts to achieve calm, ceasefires, and peace. They emphasized the necessity for the international community to take decisive action to deter this aggressive Israeli behavior, which flagrantly violates international norms and laws.
The ministers highlighted the importance of holding every violator accountable to ensure respect for international standards and to protect the rights of the defenseless Palestinian people. They urged the global community to fulfill its role in addressing and mitigating the situation to pave the way for lasting peace in the region.
