Muscat – Nama has assured the public that the water is safe for consumption and meets Omani standard specifications.
In response to numerous complaints circulating on social media, Nama revealed that it has activated an emergency plan to address the issue. This includes ensuring the safety of water sources, cleaning main tanks, and flushing water networks.
An executive management team from Nama visited Al Khabourah to oversee the measures taken and ensure that all complaints were addressed and resolved. “We have dealt with all reports received and resolved all problems related to water quality,” the company stated.
Nama has urged residents to report any further water quality issues through its call center or mobile application for immediate action.
Despite these efforts, residents of Khabourah expressed their frustration on social media platforms, particularly X.
