Muscat: The mosque, which opened its doors in 2023, has drawn widespread admiration for its innovative design by Muscat-based architect Marwan Al Balushi.
Al Balushi, the mastermind behind the project and founder of the architectural firm Altqadum, faced numerous challenges during the mosque’s construction. He emphasized the critical role of teamwork and local talent in achieving this milestone.
“We do not lack talent, but the right opportunities are scarce. I hope this recognition changes people’s minds and they trust us more in the future,” Al Balushi said.
