Muscat: Led by Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al Mandhari, the committee convened to outline its roles and responsibilities in drawing a roadmap for implementing key executive initiatives and programs.

A major focus of the meeting was on developing a new healthcare model as a critical component of the “Oman Vision 2040” strategy, specifically under the human and societal axis. This model aims to design healthcare services that align with the desires and goals of community members, ensuring their needs are met.

The committee is dedicated to creating a collaborative and participatory environment with strategic objectives that build a human-centred care model. This model seeks to enhance public health by making individuals and their families partners in maintaining their health, thus addressing all levels of healthcare required by the community.

The meeting emphasized the importance of identifying and addressing gaps and challenges within the health sector. By enhancing health services, the committee aims to achieve the broader goal of a society enjoying sustainable health.
