MUSCAT : Organized by the Ministry of Labour in collaboration with Masarat Business Development Foundation, the event aims to bolster risk management practices across the public and private sectors.

The conference targets CEOs and senior leaders from both the state administrative apparatus and the private sector, as well as officials and employees involved in risk management. Additionally, managers and employees from offices implementing Oman Vision 2040, specialists from the oil sector, and other relevant departments are participating.

Dr. Mohammed bin Khamis Al Farsi, Advisor to the Minister of Labour for Planning and International Relations, highlighted the pivotal role of risk management in both government and private institutions. He emphasized that the conference aims to closely examine and enhance risk management policies and procedures, providing institutions with the knowledge necessary to succeed and innovate. This effort is geared towards improving the efficiency of risk management operations and developing well-studied strategies to achieve organizational goals.

In his speech, Dr. Al Farsi underscored the importance of raising awareness about corporate risk management across various domains, including human, financial, legal, operational, and strategic aspects. He stressed that effective risk management is essential for avoiding damages or losses and ensuring business sustainability.

The conference will cover the latest trends and challenges in risk management, aiming to draw a roadmap that enhances participants’ skills and capabilities. By expanding understanding in the field, the event seeks to enable institutions to achieve their goals and ensure business sustainability.
