MUSCAT : The Shura Council made a significant stride in international diplomacy today by joining the 18th Parliamentary Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee meeting via video conference. The session focused on bolstering cooperation with Latin American and Caribbean countries.
One of the primary topics discussed was enhancing Gulf parliamentary relations with the European Parliament. The committee explored the possibility of organizing coordination meetings within European parliamentary forums to align Gulf priorities and aspirations with broader legislative, political, and economic goals.
The meeting’s agenda also included a comprehensive review of common Gulf priorities, aiming to present a unified position in international parliamentary conferences and forums.
