Muscat – “The presence of unauthorized speed breakers adversely affects road safety and harms city aesthetics. North Batinah Municipality urges everyone to refrain from constructing them without proper authorization,” states the announcement.
The municipality noted that random speed breakers can severely damage vehicles as they lack necessary warnings and safety regulations.
“There is an increased financial burden placed on concerned authorities for their removal,” the municipality stressed, pointing out that such installations also damage the road asphalt layer.
