Muscat – A joint surgical team from University Medical City and the Royal Hospital successfully performed a complex and precise surgery to remove a tumor in the left thoracic cavity that extended to the spinal cord of an Omani citizen.
This operation utilized modern exploratory surgical systems and underscored the coordination between thoracic, spine, and neurosurgeon consultants, as well as the dedicated efforts of the anesthesia and nursing teams.
The patient, who underwent the intricate procedure at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, is now in good health and on the path to recovery.
