ABU DHABI: The Federal Court of Appeals in Abu Dhabi has sentenced three Bangladeshi nationals to life imprisonment and ordered the deportation of 54 others for organising and inciting riots across multiple streets in the UAE on Friday.
The sentences are related to unlawful gathering, disrupting transportation and damaging property on Friday in protests against the Bangladesh government.
The defendants were brought to trial after an investigation led by a team of 30 investigators confirmed their involvement.
