Muscat: The temperature soared yet again in Oman after a few days of dip to an unprecedented 47.5ºC in Hamra Al-Duru, making it the hottest spot in Oman over the past 24 hours.
Sunaynah followed closely with a sweltering 46.7ºC, while Fahud registered 46.5ºC. The heat extended to Dama Wa Taiyyin and Maqshin, which recorded 46.4ºC and 46.1ºC, respectively. Al Kamil Wa Al Wafi was not far behind at 45.7ºC, with Buraimi and Ibri experiencing highs of 45.6ºC and 45.4ºC.
