New York: In a significant stride toward global sustainability, Oman has successfully achieved 14 international goals outlined in the United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030.

The seventh session of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, convened by the United Nations Environment Assembly, highlighted the necessity for unified efforts to address pressing global issues. The Assembly’s initiatives, particularly from its sixth session, have underscored the importance of tackling climate change, controlling pollution, and conserving biodiversity.

During the forum, key discussions revolved around critical goals such as poverty eradication, food security, climate action, peace, justice, and fostering global partnerships.
