MUSCAT : The Ministry emphasized that such actions will result in severe penalties as stipulated in the Labour Law.
“Employing unlicensed workers, infiltrators, or those who have left their jobs exposes you to penalties. According to Article 143 of the Labour Law, the punishment includes imprisonment for a period not less than 10 days and not exceeding one month, and a fine of not less than RO 1,000 and not exceeding RO 2,000, or one of these penalties,” states the Ministry alert.
