MUSCAT: Pakistan’s embassy in Oman is doing its best to offer assistance and support to those injured during the July 15 shootout in Wadi Kabir, the country’s Ambassador said on Wednesday.
In a message shared on X, His Excellency Imran Ali also informed that the bodies of those who died during the incident will be repatriated to Pakistan tomorrow.
The Ambassador also clarified that the three attackers in the shootout “had nothing to do with Pakistan.”

“This was not a Pakistan-targeted operation. People who died tried to save others,” he said.
On the Royal Oman Police officer Yousef Al Nadabi who lost his life while on duty, Ali said: “He was also one among us our very own son. He closed the doors of the mosque. If he had not done it, then many people would have been killed.”
