Muscat – The Maritime Security Centre has announced the capsizing of an oil tanker flying the Union of the Comoros flag, 25 nautical miles southeast of Ras Madrakah in the Wilayat of Duqm.
“The center indicated in a post on the official page of the ‘X’ platform that a ‘search and rescue’ operation had been activated in coordination with the relevant authorities,” the Oman News Agency reported.
