Muscat: On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Alizz Islamic Bank welcomed Dr. Wail Al Harrasi, founder & CEO of Wabas Enterprises & Investments for an insightful session with the bank staff and students from various colleges and universities to discuss about various important topics including self-discovery, building core values, mastering cutting-edge technologies like Chat GPT, and harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence in today’s rapidly evolving world.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to engage in insightful interactive discussions, and thought-provoking presentations that encouraged them to explore their own skills and potentials, and to understand the significance of continuous learning and personal growth.
World Youth Skills Day, observed annually on July 15, promotes youth skills development to tackle unemployment and underemployment. It encourages investment in training and education, aiming to better integrate youth into the workforce. This initiative, declared by the United Nations General Assembly in November 2014, emphasizes the significance of equipping youth with necessary skills to empower them.
