Muscat: Today’s weather forecast from Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority indicates varied conditions across the country. The coast of Dhofar governorate and its adjoining mountains will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a chance of isolated rain and intermittent drizzle.

Most governorates will enjoy clear skies interspersed with medium and high clouds, while the Al Hajar Mountains might see convective clouds and isolated thundershowers in the afternoon. Low-level clouds or fog patches are expected along parts of the coastal areas of the Oman Sea and Arabian Sea, potentially impacting visibility.

Dust rising over desert and open areas is also predicted, adding to the mix of weather phenomena. The Civil Aviation Authority warns that horizontal visibility might be reduced during rain, dust, and fog.
