Muscat – The training aims to enhance consumer awareness, improve response rates, and minimize the chances of incomplete surveys.

The training program will familiarize data collectors with the components of the data collection form and the objectives of each section. It will also address potential challenges that data collectors may encounter during telephone communications and provides effective solutions.

Besides, it will equip data collectors with techniques to persuade consumers who may initially show disinterest in participating in the survey.

Based on a questionnaire, the survey will take place from July 14, 2024, to September 15, 2024.

The questionnaire targets both citizens and residents of Oman who are 18years and older. The sample size is set at 2,596 individuals, representing various educational levels and age groups from all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. The questionnaire will be conducted in three languages: Arabic, English, and Urdu.

Data collection will be carried out through the data academy call center via telephone during official working hours.
