Muscat: The highest temperature was recorded yesterday in Mahut, Oman, reaching 48.9ºC
Other areas in Oman also endured scorching conditions. Zamaim and Al Mudhaibi saw temperatures soar to 47.5ºC, while Yaaloni experienced a searing 47.4ºC.
Maqshin and Rustaq weren’t far behind, each recording 47.1ºC. Jalan Bani Bu Hassan and Al Kamil Wa Al Wafi reported temperatures of 47ºC.
