MUSCAT : The Supreme Judicial Council and Public Prosecution of Oman have declared that anyone found guilty of providing narcotic substances or psychotropic substances to users or facilitating their use outside legally authorized circumstances will face stringent penalties.
According to Article 44/4 of the Law on Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, offenders will be punished with a 10-year imprisonment and a hefty fine of RO 15,000.
