Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority has released today’s weather forecast for Oman, highlighting the potential for varied and impactful weather conditions across the country. Advection clouds are expected along the coast of Dhofar governorate and the adjoining mountains, bringing chances of isolated rain and intermittent drizzle.
Additionally, parts of the coastal areas along the Arabian Sea may experience cloud advection and isolated rain showers. In the Al Hajar mountains, the formation of convective clouds is anticipated, which could lead to isolated rain, occasional thundershowers, and downdraft winds.
Low-level clouds or fog patches are also likely to form along most coastal areas, while desert and open areas might experience rising dust, further reducing visibility.
