Muscat – The initiative aims to develop a strategic online platform for higher education, enabling students from both inside and outside Oman to access educational content and fostering a flexible learning environment.
“We are currently studying a vision for establishing an Omani virtual university to provide higher education via the Internet,” stated the Minister. This initiative seeks to enhance accessibility to education and support continuous learning opportunities for students.
In addition to the virtual university initiative, H.E. Dr. Al Mahrooqi highlighted virtues of the ‘Study in Oman’ campaign, which is designed to attract international students by showcasing Oman’s higher education institutions, their services, and the appealing features available to international students.
