Muscat: In the past 24 hours, Oman has experienced extreme heat for the third consecutive day, with Hamra Al-Duru leading the charge at a blistering 49.3ºC.
This extreme heat has gripped the nation, pushing temperatures close to or above 48ºC in several regions.
Fahud followed closely behind Hamra Al-Duru, recording a searing 48.8ºC. Sunaynah wasn’t far off, reaching 48.5ºC, while Um Al Zamaim and Ibri experienced highs of 47.8ºC. Al Amerat also sweltered, with temperatures hitting 47.3ºC, and Maqshin recorded 47.2ºC. Haima rounded out the list with a scorching 46.9ºC.
