Muscat: As part of the ‘Yoga on Seas, Spreading Peace’ initiative, INS Tarkash, a guided missile frigate, docked at Salalah port to commemorate the 10th International Day of Yoga. The event aimed to promote the transformative benefits of yoga, fostering physical and mental well-being among participants. The ship’s crew and the local Indian community joined together in a rejuvenating yoga session.
INS Tarkash’s visit to Salalah is a key element of the Indian Navy’s broader mission to spread yoga awareness across 11 ports in Asia and Africa.
