MUSCAT : The Ministry of Health released an urgent call for action, emphasizing the critical need for platelet donations. The persistently high demand for platelets has left many patients awaiting transfusions, prompting the Department of Blood Banks Services to contact the public for immediate assistance.
The Central Blood Bank in Bausher is open for platelet donations from Saturday to Thursday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm and on Fridays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Donors can contact the bank at 94555648 for further information.
