Individuals handling animals should be vigilant for symptoms such as fever, muscle and neck pain, headache, and vomiting. If these symptoms appear, immediate medical attention at the nearest health centre is advised.
To prevent infection, avoid touching or crushing ticks found on animal carcasses. Proper disposal of slaughter waste is also essential; place the waste in garbage bags and ensure it is discarded in designated areas.
