MUSCAT : In a statement issued online, the Ministry indicated that the Sultanate of Oman appreciates the efforts made by the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America to pass this draft resolution.

However, “it urges the international community to implement it and oblige the Israeli occupation state not to evade its responsibilities and international demands for the need to stop the brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip, leading to achieving a two-state solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in support of peace and stability in the region,” the statement noted.
