MUSCAT : The warning extends to parts of the Hajar Mountains and encompasses the desert areas of the South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, and Al Dhahirah governorates.
Affected areas are North Al Batinah, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, South Al Batinah, Al Dhahirah, Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Buraimi and Al Wusta.
Expected weather conditions:
- Varying intensity rains ranging from 15-30 mm
- Downdraft wind speeds of 15-40 knots
- Flash floods in wadis
- Poor horizontal visibility
- Possibility of hail
