MUSCAT : In a statement addressed to citizens, the Ministry highlighted the exemption of late fines pertaining to ownership proof and registration committee decisions issued by local committees prior to the implementation of Royal Decree No. 56/2014 regarding ownership at the prescribed value.
Citizens who have received ownership decisions at the prescribed value are urged to visit the ministry within six months of the announcement for publication.
The implementation of this initiative is scheduled to commence on June 9, 2024.
