Oman records trade surplus of RO 2.61 billion by March 2024

The Sultanate of Oman's trade balance recorded a surplus of RO 2.61 billon by the end of March 2024.

MUSCAT : The data also revealed an increase of 44.9 percent in the value of non-oil commodity exports compared to the same period in the previous year.

Among the exported commodities, mineral products stood out with the highest value, contributing substantially to the overall increase in exports. This positive trend in the trade balance reflects the resilience and strength of Oman’s economy, highlighting its ability to diversify and thrive beyond oil-related revenues.
