Muscat: Led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Investment Promotion along with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Oman engaged in discussions aimed at bolstering economic and trade relations globally. The delegation, headed by His Excellency Qais bin Muhammad Al-Yousef, Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, expressed Oman’s eagerness to foster economic cooperation and expand trade and investment horizons.
His Excellency Hamoud bin Salem Al Tuwaih, Ambassador of Oman to Russia, emphasized Oman’s strategic vision to strengthen economic ties and enhance its attractiveness for investments.
Furthermore, His Excellency Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the forum’s significance in opening new markets for Omani products and forging partnerships with global counterparts. The focus was on sectors like food security, technology, petrochemicals, and tourism, indicating Oman’s diverse investment landscape.

Amid the forum’s activities, bilateral meetings and agreements were signed to bolster legal practices cybersecurity capabilities, and promote cooperation between Omani and Russian companies. These initiatives aim to enhance the efficiency of local cadres and support mutual growth in key sectors.
Additionally, Oman actively participated in discussion panels and sessions covering vital sectors such as finance, logistics, and sustainable city development. This engagement underscores Oman’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and exploring avenues for sustainable economic growth.
The forum also saw the spotlight on Oman’s rich heritage and cultural ties through an Omani evening hosted in collaboration with the Russian State Hermitage Museum. This initiative aimed to showcase Oman’s ancient history and strengthen cultural bonds with Russia, adding a cultural dimension to the economic dialogue.
