Muscat – The meeting focused on reviewing strategic plans and programs aimed at achieving the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, assessing the progress of ongoing projects, and proposing solutions to overcome implementation challenges.
During the meeting, a guide was issued to streamline and unify efforts, facilitating the work of the vision implementation follow-up offices in government agencies and institutions. H.E. Dr. Munther bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Deputy Head of the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, highlighted the importance of this meeting in ensuring the alignment of strategic plans and programs with the vision’s objectives.
He emphasized the role of vision offices as crucial links between the implementation unit and the state’s administrative apparatus, contributing to resolving challenges and ensuring the quality of related plans.
The Ministry of Education shared a visual presentation on the foundational points for activating the competencies of the vision office. The presentation included an analysis of the strategic programs guide for the tenth five-year development plan and an examination of educational performance indicators in global reports endorsed by Oman Vision 2040.






The Office of the Governor of North Al Sharqiyah reviewed the governorate’s executive plan, highlighting achievements related to the vision’s priorities across various sectors, including the private sector, investment, and international cooperation.
The Vision Office at the Development Bank showcased its significant achievements from the past year, such as preparing an in-country value framework and conducting several introductory seminars for employees about the vision.
The vision office of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion discussed its 2023 activities, including the establishment of a manufacturing industries laboratory, development workshops for the national intellectual property strategy, and construction sector development workshops. The office also reviewed over 55 detailed plans to ensure their quality and alignment with the vision’s objectives.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Chairman of the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, along with heads and representatives of vision offices from various government institutions. Their collective efforts and discussions aimed at fostering a cohesive approach towards achieving the ambitious goals of Oman Vision 2040.
