RIYADH: The forum, with the theme “Rehabilitating Lands to Enhance Resilience,” has brought together regional leaders to tackle pressing environmental challenges.
Led by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Agency, Oman’s delegation has engaged in discussions centered around critical topics such as land degradation, environmental challenges at regional and global scales, and strategies to enhance food and water security through land rehabilitation efforts.
The forum, organized by the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Program (West Asia Office), has highlighted the importance of preserving terrestrial ecosystems and fostering international cooperation to address environmental issues effectively.
