Riyadh – The enforcement actions target those caught without a valid Hajj permit within the Holy City of Mecca, its central region, the Holy Sites, the Al Haramain train station, security checkpoints, screening centers, and temporary security control centers. These measures will be in effect from today until June 20.

The Public Security confirmed that violators found within the specified geographical areas without a Hajj permit will face a fine of 10,000 Saudi riyals. This penalty applies to all citizens, residents, and visitors. Additionally, residents caught without a permit will be deported to their home countries and barred from re-entering the Kingdom for specified periods as per legal guidelines.

Those caught transporting violators of Hajj regulations will face severe penalties, including imprisonment for up to six months and a fine of up to 50,000 Saudi riyals. Furthermore, the judicial system may order the confiscation of the transportation means used in the violation.

Expatriate violators will be deported after serving their penalties and will be prohibited from re-entering Saudi Arabia for legally specified durations.
